Mount Ayothel

Mount Ayothel has long been a symbol of national pride for the Xiverith, and it has great mythical and historical significance, as well. The entirety of the Exoziv Mountains are a symbol of national pride, having defended them against the invasion of its surrounding countries. It also played a key role in The Thengoshia.

Geography

Mount Ayothel is the tallest mountain in all of Xiveri and its surrounding regions, as well as in the entire Exoziv mountain range. However, the majority of it isn't very rocky at all, and is instead covered in colourful vegetation. It's often given the nickname "The Painted Mountains" because it looks as if it's been painted many different colours, being covered in xaltheng trees. Despite having much vegetation, it's still very treacherous. Though trees can grow on the near-sheer cliff of the mountainside, humans cannot walk on it.

The main flora of Mount Ayothel is made up of xaltheng trees, as has been described before.

Natural Resources

Xaltheng wood comes from the xaltheng trees in great numbers - or it would, if humans could climb up to cut the xaltheng trees down. It also offers many natural ores and stone, if one can get below the upper layer of dirt to reach it.

History

Mount Ayothel has always been the highest peak in most everyone's memory. Attention was brought to it with the publication of The Thengoshia, in which it is featured as a main location. It became a symbol of national pride when it stopped attacking forces from even entering Xiveri's borders six hundred years ago, symbolizing their independence and their resistance to invasion. This symbolism extends to the entirety of the Exoziv mountain range.

Tourism

Mainly Xiveriths go to Mount Ayothel, wanting to see the main attraction of their symbol of national pride. Mount Ayothel is also simply not available to other nations, Xiveri's borders having only been open for about two days at the moment.
