Description:
As a full grown plant it stands tall and thin, gold in color, but rough and pale. The top contains the grain, in a hex formation.
Mentioned earlier, it can be ground into flour, or bundled into hay. The flour is commonly baked into pastries, bread and noodles, most sweet in taste, and sort of smooth in some bakings.
In a brisk wind the strands make a whistling sound, hence their nickname, whole fields sounding their music.
Its become a tradition for some farmers to host events or occasions nearby fields to listen to the sounds as they conduct weddings, animal shows, and parties.
