Also known as The Platinum Dragon, King of the Metallic Dragons, Lord of the North Wind, the Wyrmking, and Marduk the Justice Bringer. Bahamut has been known to manifest on the material plane disguised as a frail, old hermit followed by seven canaries (great gold wyrms also in disguise).
Stern and disapproving of evil, Bahamut has boundless empathy for the weak. Even though followers of Bahamut must be helpful to others, they must teach self-reliance so that no one becomes dependent on their help.
Physical Description
Body Features
Bahamut is a massive platinum dragon, iridescent and reflecting all the metallic colors of his dragonspawn. His eyes are a piercing blue, and light up as though on fire when his mood swings.
Mental characteristics
Accomplishments & Achievements
When Bahamut discovered Tiamat was spawning chromatic dragons, he answered with metallic dragons. Metallic dragons mainly have good alignment and are enemies of the chromatics. A celestial war erupted between the two races of dragons.
Out of the blood that was spilled from metallic dragons, dragonborn manifested. They were treated as lesser dragonkin, slaves to the greater dragonkin warring in the skies. Dragonborn cried out for help, and for centuries no one answered.
Bahamut did finally rescue a large population of dragonborn from destruction, bringing them to the material plane where they could fight his battles against Tiamat's agents of chaos. However, the majority of dragonborn turned their backs on deities altogether.
Intellectual Characteristics
Moral and just. Will weigh the consequences of any action before reacting. Bahamut must meet the rising tide of evil forces to keep the natural balance from being overrun.
Morality & Philosophy
Bahamut disapproves outright evil. He is stern but just. He shows boundless empathy for the weak yet teaches them to stand up for themselves. Most metallic dragons are less materialistic than chromatic dragons, a trait they get from Bahamut.
Taboos
Slaughter of the helpless irks the Platinum One to no end.
