Draw a circle around an area while casting the spell. The area will now alert the caster if the warded area has been crossed. The number of different modifiers is defined by your CL. The modifiers may range from animals to undead, and include other effects like alerting others or a noisy alarm. At CL 8 for an additional PP per modifier the ward may damage those who cross it and fail the Will Save with a +5 buff (1d6 per CL).
