The Basics
THIS WILL BE REWRITTEN WHEN I FINISH THE REST AND IS JUST FOR PLAYTESTERS REALLY
Even adventurers have free healthcare in Sarru Adnati...tied to their job and because they fought a war about it a half-century ago. The world of Sarru Adnati (translates roughly to the False World) is a land of the descendants of refugees from a magical crisis called the Sundering of Worlds, who are awaiting their eventual return to their homeworld. All life on Sarru Adnati is only possible through the use of Spirits, semi-sentient formless beings of energy that dwell (or formerly dwelled) in all living things. Only through the Guild Sisters of the Arcanum Guild is civillization kept stable, and the Corruption and Hordes kept at bay. T's M$%^& F*&^ing System is a tabletop RPG built around using a twenty sided die to determine whether a particular task has been successful or not. Unlike most such systems (such as D&D or Pathfinder) there are no classes; all your abilities will come from Feats which are granted from Leveling. Also, unlike most d20 based systems, magic is not Vancian (no more hoarding high level spells), and players need not worry about "using up" a particular spell. Within this system there are multiple different ways to increase the number you add to the d20 you are rolling (called a Modifier or Mod). Frequently this is just a Stat or Skill bonus, but sometimes spells or supernatural abilities will provide an even larger Mod. THE IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IS BUFFS DO NOT STACK WITH OTHER BUFFS, for example someone casts the Heightened Skills spell on Cam the Barbarian granting +1d4 buff to all Exploration Skill Group skills, Cam uses his Jock feat ability to grant himeslf a +1d6 buff to all Exploration Skill Group skills, his total buff is 1d6 (not 1d4+1d6). While the setting will not be extensively covered in this SRD, the system has been somewhat built around it. The setting is a high fantasy setting, with close (species) relatives to humanity, but no humans. It's history includes a violent matriarchal empire, but outside of the small remnant of its former heartlands the majority of civilization has moved past such ideas. Otherwise picture a vaguely 17th century technology, mixed with a Guild and Clan (no nation states) focused matrilineal society. To get started check out the Table of Contents
