Breaks-A-Leg

"I don't know if I trust you, but I really don't want to die down here."

Born into one of the many Scav clans that call Portland home, Legs is an interesting hybrid of outsider and native to Cascadia. His parents were scavengers from the plains of Kansas who came to Cascadia seeking refuse from the Great Dustbowl, and eventually settled in the Scav community of Irvington where their son would be born. When the Coalition of Cascadia Reborn began to take root it was the people of Irvington, including Legs's parents, who became some of its first formal delegates.   Unfortunately they, along with fellow Irvington native and CoCR president Stimpak Willy, were killed on the night of Moda Garden's sabotage. Legs was only a few years old when the event occurred and as such he has little memory of his parents. He would go on to be raised by what remained of the Irvington community, which quickly dwindled away until he was left as the only remaining occupant of the once thriving settlement.   In early August 2210 Legs would leave his lonely home behind and get caught up with a pair of would-be raiders who had taken shelter in the Rose Quarter station. Excited by the prospect of becoming a raider he found quick a degree of success owing to his skills as a tracker and navigator of the city's streets and tunnels, but it would not last. Less than a week into the formation of their gang the other two would be gunned down by a group of outsiders from New California, and Legs would find himself pressed into leading them out of the hazardous Shanghai Tunnels. He did so with great skill, and wound up right back where he started in the abandoned neighborhood of Irvington.   At present Legs is unsure exactly how he feels about these people. They murdered his previous gang without second thought, but he barely knew them anyway so it's not like he grieves their loss. They say they want to re-settle Irvington for some reason, and while he isn't thrilled about the prospect of living here again he has to admit that this motley crew of outsiders don't seem all bad.
