The action ramps up as Gage and his loyalists try to assassinate Ellie which the party and the newcomer Sharos stop, climaxing in a battle between a power-armored Porter Gage and his co-conspirator the strange magical glowing one. Ellie's organization is left in ruins but they no longer pose a threat, so the party leaves amicably with Ellie making some headway with RM.
