Session 9: The Raid
General Summary
The session began with Gerrek arriving with a wing of vertibirds sent to stop the break-in at the Logistics Corps. ADA met Lucas and his men in the courtyard and explained the situation, sending the players on their way along with Gerrek, who was now an ex-Minuteman. The party, now at full strength, went to purchase some equipment at Oberland Station, then walked to Diamond City and gave Natalie their full report. She recommended they get out of town, like her, until things settled. Heeding her advice, the players camped out in a bombed-out house outside the city. They called on all their allies with middiling success, except for May and the Pioneers, who agreed immediately.
They awoke to the city in chaos, and Akira approached them asking for their assistance in several situations. Kenny and Gerrek cleared out a sniper, who was holding down a few alleys, by tactically baiting and counter-sniping. Fisto convinced a man with hostages to take the easy way out, and Kutter and Jason tanked their way through some machine gun turrets, clearing the way for the Minutemen to clear out a warehouse. The session ended as they breached the doors.
