The Mall came under attack by a massive raider gang known as the Fiends. They came up from the Nova Wasteland and threatened to overrun The Mall. Luckily, a rag tag band of settlers armed with laser rifles managed to drive them away. This battle marked the birth of the Philadelphia Minutemen.
