Dimensional Rift Bleed

Dimensional Rift Bleeds differ a bit from normal Dimensional rifts mainly due to the rift never truly fixing itself and can be torn back open and closed with the right technology. There is a rare occasion where the Dimensional rift bleeds are created intentionally by someone or something. Beings known as the Kranians take advantage of these bleeds to launch invasions into this dimension. These are the common occurrence and the most destructive of the bleeds.  They rarely keep their footholds and are beaten back or killed before the Rift manages to heal itself or with the influence of Gods or the Celestial kings.
There are times when the bleeds aren't the center of apocalyptic events and extremely hostile dimensions.  There are some that managed to exploit these bleeds to gather resources, escape capture, and often frowned upon the manner of collecting slaves that couldn't escape and hide due to their appearance. It is also a good way to hide and bury secrets right under the nose of people seeking them. There have been records of various peoples migrating from other Dimensions through these bleeds that their Gods opened for them to escape to or be exiled to.
The standard rifts can usually be seen as a shimmering distortion on the border between the two dimensions and see the other side clearly depending on the location on both ends. Bleeds are not so obvious. To detect them requires technology able to get a sense you are near it. To open them also requires tech to open them. Only Supernatural beings are able to do so without such tech and not all of them can luckily. This keeps the Dimensions that the Gods inhabit from constantly causing issues with the other Dimensions.
The natural bleeds seem to be found in places that have a very rare biomineral that is radiated. This biomineral has no real other use and is not always radiated in the correct way to cause the bleeds to form. The uselessness of the rare biomineral makes people who know of its properties a blessing and a curse. While it would be cheap to buy, no one is really looking for it, making finding it harder for the ones who are.
The current known bleed in use is referred to as Free Port Bleed Rift. It is used mainly by pirates and smugglers and is in control of the Outlaw Trade Prince Mediki. Other bleeds are known by the High Tech Inquisitors that are said to have been used by the All-Mother and she was able to maintain the bleed from healing in some cases and other cases forced them shut and in a way locked them shut.
