Aesir-Vanir War
The Aesir-Vanir War was a war between the Aesir and the Vanir which ravaged both sides and all others caught in the crossfire.
The Conflict
Outcome
The Aesir swap some of their people to better integrate into each other's cultures. The Aesir give Hoenir Vilison and Mimir Bolthornson to the Vanir, while the Vanir give Njord Aegirson and Frey Njordson to the Aesir.
The Vanir and Aesir both spit in a vat, leading to the creation of the Mead of Poetry, and from that, the birth of Kvasir.
Aftermath
The war ended up bringing the two parties together. With the creation of the god of wisdom marking the end of the war, the nine realms had entered a new era.
