Asgard
Asgard is the realm of the Aesir.
Geography
In the west sits the land of Thrudheim, which contains the fields of Thrudvangr, where Thor Odinson lives in the largest building ever built, Bilskirnir, which has 540 rooms.
In the centre of Asgard lies Gladsheim, the capital of Asgard, in which lies Idavollr, an expansive plain, in which lies Valhalla, where Odin Borson the All-Father watches over the Einherjar, warriors who have fallen gloriously in battle. The tree Laeradr sits in the center of Valhalla, and is home to many magical creatures.
There is a lake called Amsvartnir, in which is an island called Lyngvi, where the monstrous wolf Fenrir Lokison is bound.
The rainbow bridge Bifrost acts to connect Asgard to all the other realms, with the different colours leading to different realms. It is guarded by Heimdall as it passes through the castle of Himinbjorg.
In the south lies Breidablik, the home of Balder Odinson. Near it lies the court of the Aesir, Glitnir, where the god of justice, Forseti Balderson, settles civil and criminal disputes within Asgard.
There is a large sea which expands across a large part of Asgard, called the Sea of Fen, near where stand the Fensalir.
At the edge of the Sea of Fen is a river called Sokkvabekkr, which provides wisdom to those who drink of it.
Fauna & Flora
The main sapient species residing in Asgard is the Aesir, who the land is in fact named after.
