Winged Animal Communication

Winged Animal Communication is one of the base powers a Sky Fairy can inherit, and can stem into a variety of different Sky Talents.

Fairies born with this power can communicate with winged, feathered animals, typically birds. Though, the pegasi that reside in Cosmotelluria or Aliferous are also included in this categorization.

However, their ability to communicate is weaker until they discover their talent. Upon discovery, they can hone in on their abilities and become as strong as possible in that area.

Talents

Each of the below talents would relate specifically to the feathered friends they can communicate with.

Caretaker Talents – These fairies tend to all sorts of feathered friends, especially helping raise chicks. They often keep birds as companions or pets.

  • Rarity: Common

Migration Talents – These fairies help birds with their seasonal migrations. Birds are more likely to listen to them and follow their instructions.

  • Rarity: Common

Training Talents – These fairies have the ability to train feathered animals to perform certain tasks or tricks. For Sky Fairies, this often stems into Travel Talents, where they train these animals to help carry fairies into the sky and travel around the island.

  • Rarity: Uncommon

Veterinary Talents – These fairies deal specifically in helping to take care of and heal whatever ails a bird, from sickness to a broken wing.

  • Rarity: Rare

You may also come up with a talent not listed here, or see the Sky Talents category for more talents. However, any talent that you come up with yourself will be considered an uncommon talent (or rare, if it's especially powerful), and will require reaching the same level required of other uncommon/rare talents.

Uncommon and Rare Powers are only accessible once you reach a certain level within the server. You can put that your fairy is aspiring for a rarer/uncommon talent in their doc, but they can not fully acquire it until you have reached that level out of character.

For more on creating your own talents, see Talents.
