The Phantom Circus
Nobody's sure when exactly the Phantom Circus was created, but all fairies, across all age groups, can account to the appearance of a circus tent in their town. Never does there appear to be any set up. Only that one day the circus is there, the next it's gone.
The Circus offers a myriad of wacky and whimsical performances, things you could see nowhere else! Fairies soar through the air, wings tucked behind their back, using their acrobatic skills instead. Another jumps through hoops of fire, each progressively smaller than the last. Some swallow swords, others sawed in half— nothing is too outlandish for this troupe.
And many can account to the Circus' members being just as odd as their performances. Outcasts from their own families or towns, they've each come to the Circus with a special skill, ready to embrace the weird and wield it in their acts. And here, at the Circus, they've found a new family, however unconventional they may be.
Anyone is eligible to come make a character for the circus, and you can find discussion related to it on the discord here! Now, in order for a circus to be entertaining, not every fairy can be performing the same acts. So, let's make sure we don't double up on character archetypes or what their role is in the circus. Every fairy here is unique, even moreso than most. Embrace that! For now, there will be an individual assigned to each role. However, if you have ideas for a group act or duo/trio/etc, feel free to discuss! Also, if these fill up, we are absolutely willing to make more room for more acts.
