Sling
Proficiency with a sling allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it. Slings deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage on a hit.
Ammunition. You can use a sling to make a ranged attack only if you have sling bullets. Each time you attack with the sling, you expend one sling bullet. Drawing the sling bullet from a pouch is part of the attack. At the end of the battle, you can recover half your expended sling bullets by taking a minute to search the battlefield. If you use a sling to make a melee attack, you treat the sling as an improvised weapon.
Range. A sling's normal range is 30 feet, and it's long range 120 feet. When attacking a target beyond normal range, you have disadvantage on the attack roll. You can't attack a target beyond the sling's long range.
