Lost since the ruining of Neverwinter in 1451 DR, the Crown of Neverwinter - enchanted to shield the wearer from the extremes of heat and cold - marks the true heir of Neverwinter, and all others who don the crown find themselves burned by frost and fire.
Anyone who wears and attunes to the Crown of Neverwinter gains resistance to fire and cold damage, and is immune to being incapacitated. The wearer can also use an action to gain advantage on all Charisma (Persuasion) checks made in the next minute. If someone other than the heir of Lord Nasher Alagondar wears the crown, they take 2d6 cold damage and 2d6 fire damage each round until they remove the crown. This damage cannot be reduced in any way.
