Alkarak
The leader of the Raven Blade Mercenary Company, Alkarak, is a oddity of a Moon Elf. He favors heavy armor and brute force while most would prefer to be agile and utilize precision strikes. He is gruff and hostile to others when most would be open and, if not friendly, at least amicable. He is also a ruthless leader of mercenaries with few if any scruples.
He was elected to be the Captain of the Raven Blade in the year 1439 and has kept the position ever since. He is a powerful warrior and a tactical commander with years of experience under his belt. He likes to lead charges from the front controlling the flow of the battle with merciless precision and a cunning most would not expect from a mercenary. He also likes to play mind games with his opponents by deploying saboteurs to disrupt the enemy before a battle or to sow chaos in their camp before a surprise attack.
He is late middle aged for an elf and carries an aura of callous experience with him. He dislikes most people and tolerates only a few. Those few being the members of his mercenary band and the odd respected opponent.
In battle he carries a Sword of Life Stealing. He is also know to drink a Potion of Hill Giant Strength, brewed by the on site alchemist, before battle. He prefers mounted combat but is no slouch in a foot fight either. He likes to fight with support from his band as well as to place his opponents in a disadvantages position before the combat even starts.
