The Beached Leviathan

The Leviathan was once an infamous pirate vessel that terrorized the Sword Coast under the command of the fearsome Captain Harrag. Known for its relentless raids on ships and coastal towns, the Leviathan was a name that struck fear into the hearts of sailors and merchants alike. After the eruption of Mount Hotenow, the ship ran aground in northern Neverwinter, suffering a punctured hull. Rather than abandon his vessel, Captain Harrag remained with the Leviathan as the city’s docks were rebuilt around it.
The ship was converted into a thriving inn and tavern, now known as the Beached Leviathan. The establishment is divided into three levels:

• The Hold: The first level, which serves as the tavern and kitchen, accessible from the docks and capable of hosting parties of various sizes.
• The Quarters: The second level, offering 12 rooms of different sizes available for rent as part of the inn.
• The Deck: The third level, featuring private parlors and tables available for a premium, with Captain Harrag’s private quarters located in the upper cabin.

The ship’s interior is adorned with nautical decorations, many of which are trophies from Harrag’s pirating days. The furnishings are crafted from fine oak and cherry wood, though years of use have left the once-luxurious interior worn but full of character. The Leviathan remains a symbol of Harrag's legacy, now serving as a popular gathering place in Neverwinter.
