The Belt family of Baldur's Gate was one of the noble Patriar families that composed the city's aristocracy in the late 15th century DR.
They owed their wealth to the business holdings related to the sale and exchange of horses. Many of these fine animals were sold to those travelers that journeyed along the Trade Way.
