Gruesome

CLEVER KECUALA

Gruesome is a tall, muscular Lizardfolk and a fearsome combatant. He lived a simple life in some untold region of Faerun before his arrival in the Flooded Forest. He escaped The Sunken Spire alongside Zepp Wilson on Eleint 21 of 1499 DR. He and Zepp make up the "Triumphant Two." Their endeavors are hardly principled on Gruesome's part; Zepp's shenanigans keep him well-fed and that's all that really matters.

Gruesome's scales are a pale green color similar to the moss which hangs from the swamp's trees. Like many Kecuala, Gruesome wears only a loincloth and various handcrafted ornaments made of bone and teeth. He fights with a greatclub fashioned from a Duskwood tree. He is cunning and ruthless when necessary, but his relatively mindful nature keeps him generally civilized.

Due to his upbringing, the lizard has a fear and respect for magic. He is not capable of such, yet always finds himself in awe of magical displays. His experiences in the Flooded Forest make him a capable tracker, survivalist, and craftsman. Gruesome typically spends his time hunting, eating, and climbing trees to bask in the sun's rays.

Inevitably, T2 has encountered many Kecuala scouts within the Flooded Forest. The local tribes are territorial and tend to react aggressively to an unknown lizard. Gruesome still feels the call to seek out his kind, and it's a source of some contention between him and Zepp.

A walking stomach who is clever by Kecuala standards. He also exhibits unusual civility for a lizard.
