Sora Shana
Sora Shana
Sora was raised much like other kalashtar children among the clerics and acolytes of a temple of light in her homeland, Adar, where she practiced meditation, healing, and language to master the quori spirit bonded to her bloodline a millennium past. Shana, the quori spirit, is virtuous to a fault, and the kalashtar they bond to have historically grown strong in mind, body, and spirit when in harmony with them.
Sorashana excelled in comparison to her peers and rose to the status of novice cleric at the age of 16, earning a reputation for her sternness and patience even while others could sense the quori spirit burning with rage behind her glowing eyes. Shana pushes Sora to her limits at times, resulting in private outbursts of psionic potential that those close to her have described as "explosive," "dangerous," and even shameful before the expectations laid upon her.
The Day of Mourning has shaken the continent of Khorvaire to its core, political turmoil that is characteristic of the continent is calming down as the nations draft peace treaties and draw new borders. Sorashana's mentors have elected her to represent the Kalashtar in a summit at the great city of Sharn alongside clerics of other temples from her homeland, as well as a group of Inspired diplomats, agents of the Dreaming Dark that rule over Adar with an oppressive presence. A storm strikes their airship over the ocean on the way to Sharn, and Sorashana and the other diplomats are thought to be dead by their peoples
