As agreed, we have decided to support your efforts to acquire the property you covet. Included with this note are the funds you have requested, that you will repay to us within the agreed-upon timeframe.
In exchange for our generosity, you will keep the current owners of the manor occupied and distracted to the best of your ability. We would prefer they be kept busy dealing with you, and not exploring further into the city’s affairs, investigating the cache of dragons, or especially, into our own involvement with either.
Failure in this endeavour, or in the prompt repayment of our loan, will result in consequences for yourself and any businesses operating under your name.
