Session XII: arriving in Thither Report

General Summary

As our intrepid adventurers entered Thither , the balloon flew over a lush forest.  Scaldedstar  feeling frisky, pitched Shiro o out of the balloon immediately and he was separated from the group.  When they landed the group had Clapperclaw  lead them into the forest looking for Skabatha Nightshade Early in their exploration they ran across a Campestri that was sitting by a campfire slathering itself with melted butter.  When questioned, it told the group that its friend Kro'ah was going to give him a "bath" in the pot of boiling water he was heating up.  The group tried to convince the Campestri to leave, but it was very adamant about sticking around for it's friend.  When Kro'ah returned, the group shared a meal of buttered Campestri with him.  Kro'ah was happy to share information about Skabatha and Loomlurch.  He told them to lookup his cousin, Chucklehead, when they arrived there because he has the most wonderful candy shop.Moving on, they ran into Nib in his cave.  Outside the cave they found a wanted poster for Will of the Wild.  Nib told them of his plight to make up for his evil ways exploiting the tenants of his buildings.  He was cursed to give away all of his accumulated wealth.  He gave each of the party a gift of a magical item and wished them well.  He suggested they look for WillThey encountered a fairy ring around which a group of Campestri were dancing and signing.  @Zendarya taught them a new song and was gifted a Charm of Heroism.  Scaldedstar successfully remembered how to make a crossing to another world using the fairy ring.  Mirum convinced the swarm of campestri to enter his new bag of holding.They met a centaur named Winterbow.  He told them to leave Prismeer because its magic was waning due to Zeblina's imprisonment.  He would have left but he is too old.  He gave the group directions to the wayward pool where unicorns are known to gather.  They might be able to help.  When the group arrived at the pool they were unable to get close despite all of their best efforts.Continuing on toward Will's home, Little Oak, they ran across large footprints.  They followed the trial where it abruptly ended.  Tootie deduced they were from a large dragon-like creature that flew away.They arrived in a clearing with a large tree...
