Courtesans are highly trained women who hire themselves out as sexual partners and social accompaniment. Their work is both legal and respectable, and there training covers music, art, combat, and psychology, and they are expected to cultivate these skills with practice. Before the war, they picked their own clients and if a client misbehaved, they possess the ability to blacklist them and prevent them from ever hiring another courtesan.
That was before the century war. As hard times hit the lands, the ability to maintain the costs of a courtesan was prohibitive. So they adapted, many have turned there artistic and entertainment skills to gather information of the enemies of the state. The Sisters of Samara was forged long ago, but has now grown large in power over the last century as displaced courtesans needed a way to provide with there extensive skill set.
You have spent your younger years learning the secret art of persuasion and passion. A skill set that now grants you certain opportunities to slip into both high class and low-class society and find your ways around the guards of man. When you're around, lips loosen, and information can be put into play.

Feature:
Allure to Society When in noble society, a courtesan is treated as a noble who is wise to the world, behind closed doors the women will talk bad about you, but who cares your busy lightening the purses of there men anyways. While gone are the days of proper courtesan houses in all but the largest towns, a courtesan can find out with little effort who in the area is down to partake in their brand of entertainment. When making contact in a city or town courtesans can learn of the nobles who seek reputable courtesans in a few nights at local establishments the high class tend to frequent.
Suggested characteristics:
A courtesan can have any sort of personality, be it serious or bubbly. this is generally an act however, at the flip of a shilling their current persona and personality is able to change and adapt to the preferred performance needed for there current audience. This does make it hard to know, truly know the person and what makes them tick. in general, the people that became a courtesan were seeking out a different life then what they were born into. The sisterhood was able to bring the best and most talented into the fold and train them to make the very best of there skills and abilities.
