Other Flora and Fauna

The various types of trees provide shelter and homes for all the fauna living in the Jade Forest. Some of the trees have also woven themselves into homes for various elves. Some fauna also live in burrows beneath the soil.Interactions
The flora are able to communicate with all creatures, perfectly fluent in all languages found in the Mystical Realm. Other creatures generally ask permission from the plants when they take something such as fruit from them, to make their homes on them, or rarely to cut them down. The fauna interact with each other in the way that nearly all predators and prey do. Fae wolves and griffons have no predators. Perytons, deer, rabbits, jackalopes, songbirds, ladybugs, and horses are all herbivores. Hippogriffs and bears are omnivores. Wolves, foxes, eagles, hawks, griffons, owls, spiders, and snakes are carnivores.Natural Resources
The Jade Forest provides wood for both buildings, weapons, and armor. The forest also provides food in the form of various fruits, vegetables, as well as most of the animals that are hunted for food. The vines can also be used as ropes.
