Faerie Kingdom

Brief Overview

The Faerie Kingdom is the section of land within the Jade Forest that is ruled by faeries, specifically the Faerie Prince and his mothers. This kingdom expands over roughly a quarter of the forest with a section bordering the Primordial Greenwood.

Assets

The Faerie Kingdom has an abundance of gold. There is also a massive and formidable army. They have high walls all around the kingdom and the castle at the center of the kingdom is heavily fortified.

Demography and Population

Roughly 90% of the demographic is made up of faeries. 7% are daemons, 2% are elves and the remaining 1% are goblins. Most of the goblins live in the area of the Faerie Kingdom closest to the Primordial Greenwood. The rest of the population is mostly congregated in the center of the Kingdom with farmers and soldiers living in military camps closer to the outer edges.

Infrastructure

Defences

There is a towering wall, roughly a hundred feet tall, that surrounds the entirety of the Faerie Kingdom. These walls are imbued with magick as well as the gates that allow entrance. The walls are made of heavy stones and the gates are forged from steel and silver. There are four gates, one at each cardinal direction. Faeries and fae wolves pace the walls and allow people inside the Kingdom.

Waterlines

Aqueducts run alongside the walls and throughout the Kingdom, providing water for people and crops. There is also a sewage system that is connected to every building and empties out near the Primordial Greenwood.

Roads

Cobblestone streets wind through the Kingdom. All roads lead back to the castle at the center of the Kingdom.

There is no official currency as the Faerie Kingdom runs on a barter system.

Legislative Body

The government is an absolute monarchy and is run mostly by the Faerie Prince as well as the two queens. The queens are able to veto any law, tax, or declaration of war that the Faerie Prince creates. His consorts, particularly his high consort, are also able to make laws, though these laws are considered trivial.

Judicial Body

The royal family also act as the judicial body.
