Xontarvik (ON-tar-vik)

A town upstream from the Gormnar Castle. The town was once known around the kingdom and beyond for its fine wines and meads although much of its income, even today, comes from old wood harvested from the Eltawin Forrest. It is the home to the Lonmas Barony. With the old baron fading his legitimate sons have begun posturing to take advantage. Many of the old barons bastards have gone missing in recent times and has created an air of tension to a normally peaceful town. The town structurally survived the serpent wars unscathed as the conflict was either further south or east of the town, much of the outer portions of the town have fallen into disuse and this town, like most suffered from the plague and to this day has yet to recover the numbers lost. For is size Xontarvik is a cosmopolitan town with elves, dwarves and halfling making up most of the non-human population. Gnomes and half-breeds are less common and even plannar and dragon blooded are not unheard of due to its proximity to Gormnar Castle.
