The Pale Fields
The Pale Fields once were fertile farmland under the tight control of the empire but are now a wasteland of broken fields, old battlegrounds and scorched and salted earth. small corpses of tree dot the landscape and small clumps of sulphur resistance scrub are the only signs of life. Animal life is scarce but the area is home to small bands of lesser devils and demons. The areas roads are patrolled by the Infernal Knights, although the surrounding land is wild and untamed.
Fauna & Flora
Due to the old battle site, undead and infernal influence much of the fauna in the area. Animals that are common in other parts of Shekiac are more uncommon here and ghouls, ghasts, and ghosts haunt the land and lesser devils and demons stalk the inhabitants.
History
The Pale Fields were the location for many battles during the Pale Wars, the land is dotted with old battle sites.
