Silvermane Hills

Raising above the plains is the wooded hills known as the Silvermane Hills. They originally gained their name as they were once home to a clan of werewolves in a time the hills were more heavily wooded, adventurers have long since wiped the lycans out although rumours of their return since the pale war are always abound and is often used as a reason for a missing loved one or caravan when no other explanation is available or parties do not want further investigation.
The hills themselves are unremarkable with little in the way of natural ores. it tends to be a degree or two colder in the hills than the plains, rain and snow is also more common.
It is rare to find a welcome once in the hills as most of its inhabitants are either bandits or hermits. the one exception is the Ravensclaw Hunters Lodge. This group of hunters and woodsmen protect the land and try to keep the corruption from becoming to prevalent in the hills. This has made the hills a haven for uncorrupted beasts and animals.
