Quelm

The island kingdom of Quelm lies in the northern reaches of the Starsea. They are a nation of seafarers, traders and pirates, raiding the coast of the Star Sea for hundreds of years. The are also known throughout the lands as traders in finery and at times illegal items, including slaves, drugs and forbidden magics. Isolationist in nature little is know about the inner workings of the kingdom although they do have political ties with many of the kingdoms surrounding the Starsea and beyond. Visitors to the island kingdoms movement restricted to the trade and visitors quarter of the kingdoms main port of Quelm. The nation is made up primarily of humans with other ancestries very rare. natives of Quelm tent to have olive skin and dark hair, they are tall averaging 6 ft for males and only slightly short for females, of slight build. Male tend to be either clean shaven or have well manicured moustaches. Fashion tend to lean toward flowing garments that allow freedom of movement but with heavier coats over top that are easily removed. The lands of Quelm are made up of deep forests and rugged volcanic mountains leaving the people to look outward for trade.
