Caenweld Watch

Caenweld Watch, is a fortress located at the mouth of the Basphalt Pass. Both Delaranians and Farscapians call it the 'Mechanical Eye'.

Description

Caenweld lays to the south of the capital of Venciza and is the largest structure for miles around. It is a massive frotification complete with towering walls, mutliple towers with various cannons and armaments fitted in the murderholes, and a sizable garrison with outposts nearby for reinforcements.

Activities

During the Fourth Magi-Techno War, the Fortress served as the mustering grounds for many of Farscape's armies and strike operations. It also served as a wartime jail and a natural chokepoint.

History

During the First Magi-Techno War, construction had barely begun and was promptly abandoned due to advancing Delarnian forces. When they were pushed back, the site had been taken over by a host of bandits. It served as a focal point for bandits for a few years before being retaken by Farscape forces.
