The firstborn daughter of General Amra Paravi and elder sister to Almithara Paravi, Riniya is a high ranking solider in the United Forces of Naraga.

Personal history
Born to the mighty General Amra Paravi, Riniya has always been beholden to high expectations, but was always up to the challenge to meet them. Her mother trained her rigorously from a young age, inspiring her with the tales of her ancestor, after whom Riniya was named. She always strove to live up to her mother's legacy and wanted to be a great warrior. Thankfully that goal came easy for her. She was a natural with a sword, and a brilliant tactician. Her ability to analyze the battlefield was second only to her mother. She was Amra's pride and joy, and she knew it.
When her sister, Almithara, was born, the distinct difference in personality and gap in age made it difficult for them to find common ground. Riniya mocked Almithara often when their parents weren't around.
By the time she was in her twenties, Riniya was already on a fast track to an officer position in the United Forces of Naraga. She had earned a medal of distinction for her services and was well respected by soldiers both above and below her rank. On her 30th birthday, she was promoted to Grand Officer.
Word had gotten around, however, that her sister was struggling to pass the exams necessary to join the military. Riniya refused to speak about it, barely acknowledging Almithara at home and flat out refusing to be seen with her in public. She was embarrassed, for herself and her mother.
When Almithara left home after failing her final exams, Riniya was subsequently relieved and infuriated. By running away, Almithara was abandoning her honor, and that would leave a stain on their family legacy for years to come.
