Nardjinmorah
Nardjinmorah (a.k.a. Djinn)
Djinn is your classic rogue: his father left before he was born, his mother slowly lost her love for her child over time, she then died, and he was taken in by a mercenary group. Now, he is a sword for hire, using his skills with words and swords to make a living. Again—classic rogue.
But, unlike your usual brooding, angry thief (not to say he isn’t those things), he doesn’t really care. Honestly, he just wants to take a nap.
His father? Why feel bad? It’s not like he knew him.
His mother? She kind of ruined that motherly bond, so it’s sad, but only the oldest memories mean anything.
The mercenary group? Hey, it pays well and he learns a bunch of stuff about a lot of different people.
It’s not to say Djinn doesn’t care about some things; he does! He may not show it, but the fiery rogue does have some special things in his life.
No, no one gets to hear it. If they do, they better forget it.
Thankfully, he doesn’t have to worry much about that fact; his short temper, dripping apathy, and rather unsettling ability to read people tends to ward off others. But when he was suddenly dragged into a much bigger mystery with three other adventurers, Djinn learned that he would have to become a little more open with his new-found companions to make through Eyrar.
