Eyeball Planet

The year is 2121. Cassandra [last name] is home to visit her sister [Elanor]. They go out to dinner and are hit by a sudden and extreme storm [nuclear apocalypse]. Cassandra and stranger [Ulysses / Lee] awaken in a sand cave, the world is reddened in the sky, short wide plants of dark colors are sparingly placed around them. They are in a group of 10 people. Their clothes are thin and white, but long sleeved. It is very hot. each person has a backpack of supplies. Lee has a compass. There is a star on the compass due north west. They don't know where they are or how they got there. Nor do they know what to do next. Elanor and Xavier are not among the ten.   Xavier wakes up next to Ellie. They are wearing Sherpa lined snow pants and coats, face masks, mittens hats and hoods. It is extremely cold, as well as dark. There are about 8 people with them. They are crowded together in a small metal room, containing 3 windows and a door. Outside of the window, they can see a blizzard. The light above them is flickering. There are 10 supply bags on a table next to the door. There is also a compass, with a star due south east. They also don't know how they got to wherever they are, why they are there or what to do next. Xavier examines the supplies and finds a note. Then looks at the people and sees that Cassie is not with them.
