Mask, The Unknown

Betrayer God

Mask has always been causing problems. Before the War in Heaven they were always considered a trickster, messing with mortals out of boredom. When the War began he sided with the Betrayers, not out of a sense of loyalty or belief in their cause, but because it needed to be a fairer fight to keep it interesting. They also tricked Urgash into joining their side. Promising him that they will accept him and he can enjoy himself. This was one of the very few times Mask wasn't lying.

Veiled Vault

The Veild Vaults rarely appear as places of worship. Instead, they hide in plain sight—behind bustling inns, beneath quiet bookstores, or under the floorboards of quaint supply shops. To the uninitiated, they’re just another building on a crowded street. But to those who know what to look for, the Veiled Vaults are sanctuaries of shadow and subterfuge. Each Vault is overseen by a Keeper, often a respected merchant, barkeep, or tradesperson with a silver tongue.

The Shrouded Hand

The Shrouded Hand are the unseen fingers of the Mask's will. They're spies, thieves, assassins, and deceivers who trade in secrets and lies. They operate in cells, each unaware of the others, ensuring no truth is ever fully known.

Tenets

Truth is a Weapon, Not a Virtue: Use the truth when it serves the greater lie.
Masks Reveal More Than Faces: Never let anyone know your full self.
Order is the Enemy of Opportunity: Disrupt systems to create cracks where secrets may slip.

The Mirror Maze

The Mirror Maze is an endless extradimensional labyrinth of polished obsidian and silvered glass, where every wall reflects a different version of the self, some truthful, most not.

The Skeleton Key

A Silver key made of liquid metal. It can open nearly any lock and is said that it can also permanently close something.
