Leona, The Radiant Dawn

Protector God

Currently the most worshipped God in the pantheon, Leona is the most spread across the world. During the War in Heaven, she lead most battles against the Betrayers and was the one chosen to close the Divine Gate. During the Battle of Mount Targon, she was mortally wounded and was unable to close the gate. Her sister Diana sacraficed herself to close the gate, saving Leona in the process. Leona and her followers abhor the undead and the practice of necromancy in all of its forms.

Church of the Sun

As Leona is the most worshipped God around the world, you can find temples to her nearly anywhere. From massive cathedrals to small home shrines, anywhere you find life, you will find worship to Leona. A few of the churches will also hold small offerings to Diana at the zenith of the moon, giving thanks to the Godess for saving Leona.

The Knights of Radient Dawn

Leona's main paladin order is known as The Knights of Radient Dawn. They work to uphold the law of the land wherever they can find it, though they will never tolerate necromancy, even if it is a legal practice within the nation. This has put them at odds with the Noxii Empire more than once.

Tenets

Hunt the Damned: Wherever the undead reside, we shall burn them out with holy fire.
Innocence Shall not Suffer:
When corruption threatens those who cannot fight back, we will bring the weight of the law down on those corrupt.
Justice Above All:
We shall not rest until the true culprit has been found and punished according to the law. The innocent shall walk free and without fear.

The Golden Citadel

The large Gold and White Citadel of Leona sits in the centre of a giant apple orchid. Here she presides over her people and realm from atop her throne. At the tip of the Citadel sits the Sun, existing both here and in the material realm. Within the orchid surrounding the citadel are thousands of apple trees. Each apple holds the soul of one of Leona's devout, resting peacefully within their own personal heaven. These gardens are tended to by The Solari, the souls of Paladins that passed with a lifetime of service to Leona. Eating an apple from the tree will give you the memories of the one you eat, but destroys the soul in the process. Permission to eat an apple has only ever been given once.

The Dawn Plate

A set of plate armour made of a deep orange metal, highlighted by gold. The Dawn Plate was gifted to Leona's first Aasimar during the War in Heaven. It is said that the Plate offers its wearer protection from radient light as well as bolstering your allies. The plate can only be worn by those who abide the law and do their best to better the world. Any evil that attempts to wear the armour burns in holy light.
