Kindred, The Eternal Hunters
Protector God
The Kindred are not a single being, but infact two, The Lamb and The Wolf. During the War in Heaven, The Kindred refused to involve themselves in the war as their duty required them to take from both sides. Currently they are the only Deity still able to walk the Material Plane. They have no celestial helpers nor a realm of their own to call home.Threshold Temples
Solemn and timeless structures generally carved from pale stone and dark wood. The Keepers are the silent stewards who maintain the grounds and guide the grieving, the dying, or the curious. No offerings are made, for the God of Death desires nothing. The Pale Sentinels
The Pale Sentinels are the sacred, armored extension of the God of Death’s will—not executioners, but custodians of balance, dignity, and fate. Clad in bone-white plate and veiled helms, they bear no banners and swear no allegiance but to The Kindred. Their presence brings stillness, not fear; their blades fall only when the weave of life demands release. They are the last faces seen by many—calm, silent, and resolute.Tenets
All Paths End: Never deny the end to those whose time has come. Mercy and finality are not cruelty but truth. Do not preserve what lingers unnaturally, nor hasten what is yet due.Guard the Crossing: Where death is defiled—by necromancy, undeath, or those who toy with soul and spirit—stand firm. The dead must rest.
Face all without Favor: A king and a beggar walk the same road in the end. Offer neither privilege nor prejudice in duty.
