Daidales, The First Betrayer

Betrayer God

Before the War in Heaven, Daidales was known by another title. But all record of that title was stripped and forgotten after he became The First Betrayer. Upset at the treatment of his siblings after The Elven War, Daidales sought to free the from The Cage. In doing so he became the first Divine to kill a mortal, sealing his name forever as the First Betaryer. During the War in Heaven he rallied five other Gods to his side, trying to return the world to its original state of chaos, believing that his siblings had become to attached to their new toys.

The Chain Hall

Rarely found on maps and never openly marked, these halls are built in secret—buried beneath ruined keeps, hidden deep within mountain caves, or tucked into the bowels of cities. Each Chain Hall serves as both sanctuary and stronghold, where followers of Daidales gather in secret. The architecture is brutal and suffocating—low ceilings, reinforced walls, and iron bindings carved into stone. Chains hang like curtains in every chamber, symbols of submission.

The Shackled Host

Warriors bound in service not by loyalty, but by oaths forged in blood, chains, and fear. Each member bears a ceremonial shackle, often fused to their flesh or armor, symbolizing their eternal servitude to the will of Tyranny. They are enforcers, not protectors—bringing order through domination, silencing rebellion with brutal precision. Many were once knights, soldiers, or guards who betrayed their vows and found greater power in submission to a darker master.

Tenets

Strength Demands Submission: Power is the right of rule. All who are weak must kneel, or be broken until they do.
Mercy is a Lie: Kindness breeds weakness. To rule is to be cruel when necessary, and necessary often.
You Do Not Question: Interpretation is for the faithless. Obey without hesitation, or become the next lesson.

Avernus

A scorched, war-scarred wasteland that serves as both a battlefield and a gate. It is the frontline of the eternal Blood War between demons and devils, where infernal legions clash endlessly against abyssal hordes. The sky burns a dull, red haze, constantly lit by falling embers and the glow of distant firestorms. Rivers of ichor and broken steel cut across a cracked and blackened terrain littered with the remains of ancient sieges.

Dark Whispers

A dark iron two headed flail. Each spiked head is shaped like the twisted visage of a screaming face. When swung, the weapon emits a low, almost inaudible chorus of whispers that creep into the minds of those nearby, sowing doubt, fear, and betrayal. The weilder is said to have the power to pull the darkest desires from his victims.
