Protector God
The God of Magic and creator of The Weave. Alibastar strives to preserve all knowledge possible. Those who come to him for guidence must offer a piece of knowldge in return. Generally this is a book or tome, but they also accept stories as long as they are truth. In the Gods time of need in the War in Heaven, Alibastar designed the Divine Gate. A structure of pure Weave that no divine being could pass through. Alibastar now resides in his library, sending out his seekers to gather and protect all knowledge. It is said that those who reach him in his library will be gifted any one piece of knowledge they seek.Library of Alibastar
Libraries that double as Temples, these places of worship are looked over by Librarians. Most of which are extremely apt at magic. They accept donations of all books, which are mostly free for people to browse. The books that are considered too dangerous are generally shipped to Libraries in larger cities for proper storage and protection. The higher level Librarians scribe the books donated, which will add them to Alibastar's collection in the Lybrithian Library.The Keepers of Lore
Paladins of Alibastar that travel the world, seeking any dangerous or forbidden knowledge. They strive to collect any magic that could endanger the world and work to stop those trying to put said magic into practice. While they aren't powerful practicioners in the magical arts, they are very good at stopping them. Most of their armour and weapons are designed to counter magic.Tenets
Knowledge Must be Protected: All books and knowledge must be protected, no matter how wrong or powerful.Keep the Weave: Any who attempt to push the weave beyond its natural limits must be hunted down and destroyed.
Only Those Who Need to Know Shall: Certain knowledge needs to be locked away, we shall find it and lock it away.
