Exousia

The world of Exousia is vast, with approximately 75 million souls scattered across 6 continents. In the western hemisphere lies the continents of Speraxia, Meirra, and Biliqui. Speraxia occupies the northern half of the western hemisphere. In the southern half of the western hemisphere lies the continent of Biliqui, and the two continents are separated by the Mahara Sea. Residing on Exousia's Prime Meridian are the smaller continents of Uragan in the North, which has the Synea Ocean off of its southern and eastern shores and the Meneir Ocean flanking the continents western shores, and Meirra in the southern hemisphere. The final two continents that exist within the eastern hemisphere are that of Aegis in the north, and Gioco in the south. These continents have grown on this planet for millennia independently, that is until the year 287 SRE, where upon the Ekkarans of Gioco had advanced their sailing abilities and technology to successfully circumnavigate the globe and in doing so discovered the rest of Exousia. In the intervening generations the Ekkarans spread their knowledge and skill world wide as to help not only themselves, they were selling these things which helped fund the many political situations that tended to arise in Gioco, but also to help those denizens that they shared the planet with. Many trade routes have since been established and maintained through the ascent and decline of many major powers, granted none of those powers have yet attempt to become truly international powers. When the Ekkarans discovered those whom lived in Northern Speraxia, specifically those in the Lacus Kingdom, they found that the people there had discovered and perfectly tracked the astrological phenomena and had created a calendar based on that. The Lacarian Calendar is the same calendar that is used across Exousia today.
