Genasi

Genasi are an exceptionally rare species of elemental humanoids. They are rarely born naturally and are rather a mutation found in an existing species.   Genasi have been touched by the Elemental Planes, this can come about in many ways. The most common way to become a Genasis is to be born as one. This usually occurs when a Genasis parents have a connection to the Elemental Planes, either by living in or nearby the Planes themselves, or wielding primal magic, which transfers to the child.   A Genasi can also come about when an individual is touched by dangerous elemental magic and survives.   Genasi can originate from any humanoid species on Exorsia that give birth to live young, though is most common in Humans due to their increased population.   Genasi are most commonly found in Elemental Gates communities or other locations of elemental power. While they can live alongside other species in settlements across Exorisa it is uncommon due to them being feared or exoticised.

Appearance:

Genasi usually resemble their origin species but with elemental qualities, such as skin, hair and eyes that match one of the four elements, air, earth, fire or water.   Air Genasi: They are usually extremely light, with light blue or translucent skin and wispy cloudy hair.   Earth Genasi: They are usually dense with a strong build. Their skin takes on the appearance of rock or dirt, with coarse rough hair.   Fire Genasi: They are usually extremely hot in temperature, with red skin that flickers with fire, matching their hair that seems like it’s living flame from the top of their heads.   Water Genasi: They are constantly damp, usually with translucent skin that takes on a green or blue colouring and seems to contain living water. Their hair is smooth and silky.

Maturity:

Genasi mature at the same rate as their origin species.

Reproduction:

  Genasi can not reproduce.
