Draconic

Draconic is the primary language of Dragonkin.
Draconic is an ancient language, it is harsh sounding to most other creatures and includes numerous hard consonants and sibilants. Like Elvish, Draconic has a strong connection to magic and is frequently used in the study of magic.
The Draconic language is rarely spoken outside of Draconic communities or between Dragonkin. While some ancient scriptures are written in Draconic as well as some magical rituals it is not a commonly spoken language. That being said, some Dragonkin are only able to speak and understand Draconic while others will exclusively be able to understand Draconic, even if they are unable to speak it.
