Divine Gate

The Divine Gate is a magical barrier that surrounds the Material Plane and prevents the Gods from being able to physically influence or interfere the Material Plane. It also makes it difficult for powerful beings, such as Quasi-Deities, to cross into the Material Plane, often requiring to be summoned in order to do so. 

The Divine Gate also cut off Exorsia and it's people from the higher echelons of Magic, making the practice of Magic much more difficult and time consuming to learn.

The Divine Gate was created by the Gods after the Fall of Arcanum, to prevent Mortals from being able to return to the height of destructive power they achieved during the Age of Arcanum.
