Dhampir

Dhampir are a species of vampire-like humanoids. They are rarely born naturally and are rather a mutation found in an existing species.
Dhampir are commonly the offspring of a vampire and a mortal or a failed attempt at turning into a vampire. They exist in the place between life and death.
Dhampir can easily mingle within settlements and try to live normal lives, lacking the weaknesses of true vampires. Though they still need to feed on blood or another substance to survive and are at risk of being hunted if their secret comes out.

Apperance:

Dhampir usually resemble their origin species but with vampiric traits, these can include pale skin, red eyes and fangs.

Maturity:

The lifespan of a Dhampir is unknown, as the majority of them die early. Though many have lived for a few centuries without showing signs of ageing. Dhampir mature at the same rate as their origin species.

Reproduction:

Dhampir reproduce similarly to Humans, with their offspring always being Dhampir themselves.
