Moons

The night sky holds many secrets, but none are as ever-present and enigmatic as the three moons that watch over the world. Their phases shape the tides, inform the Calendar, influence magic, and guide those who look to the heavens for omens and signs. Some see them as celestial guardians, others as fickle forces of fate, but all recognize their undeniable power. Each moon has its own name, its own legends, and its own role in the grand design of existence.

Lunaris:

Known as the Moon of Wisdom, Lunaris is the largest and brightest of the three moons. Its silvery glow bathes the land in ethereal light, guiding travelers and illuminating the secrets hidden within the shadows. Lunaris is associated with knowledge, enlightenment, and prophecy, and its phases are believed to influence the ebb and flow of magic across the realm.

Nocturna:

Nocturna, the Moon of Shadows, casts a dark and mysterious aura over the land. Its phases are unpredictable, sometimes appearing as a thin crescent and other times shrouded in thick clouds. Nocturna is associated with mystery, illusion, and the unseen forces that lurk in the darkness. Some believe that its influence grants power to the practitioners of shadow magic, while others fear its unpredictable nature as a harbinger of misfortune.

Stellara:

Stellara, the Moon of Stars, is the smallest and faintest of the three moons, often appearing as a mere speck of light amidst the celestial tapestry. Despite its diminutive size, Stellara holds great significance in the hearts of the people, symbolizing hope, guidance, and the enduring light that shines even in the darkest of nights. Its phases are believed to herald auspicious events and inspire acts of bravery and heroism among the denizens of Aeldoren.
"The moons do not simply light the night; they whisper to those who know how to listen."
