History of Still Wombs

The Magnanimous, now known as Cradle Guardian , began to hear silence children and weeping parents. During this time, every humanoid race was affected with still womb births. This was the most the deity had ever been seen as they traveled from city home to across seas homes giving life back into still children. Whether mercy or curse as many children perished for the deity was only one and alone in his endeavor. The other deities were not cruel, but rather did not hold the power to sway a soul back into a body and even they could not bring all the children to life and quickly began to lose their power.
Many out-cried and flooded the temples of the Great Healer calling to them for the children. For was it nottheir duty to carry souls and heal those harmed? The cries went unanswered for several weeks, the Grief-sick began to harm the Healer's clergy, destroying, or marking the temples. When Magnanimous disappeared for a short time, the unrest grew the worse. The rulers began to use any means to calm the unrest as even the clergy began to go against their practices.
Just as the world seem to fall apart, children's cries began to be heard again and weeping became that of relief. However, this event changed Magnanimous, who is now called Cradle Guardian, for they appeared with the angels carrying the souls of children and their action to save the few they could. Worship for the Cradle Guardian would have been honored in their temples for eras to come, if the deity had not destroyed them. They command never again shall there be a temple in their honor, only humble shrines cared by those who foster love. The Cradle Guardian made clear to all that those of their worship shall never practice what was before and will follow their practices, or face wrath.
Curiously, it is not known if the Great Healer was apart of the wave of angels that carried the souls. However, many of their temples have adopted the iconify of angels and non-clergy bespeak their name to be Soulflint. Aasimar became more common in the world and are sacred children of saviors.
