Their name and guild school is known throughout the Esmontsia for their performance. Reputation has people flocking to their school; whether to learn dentistry, dragons, or talk to Curious.   The title, Try., is for teachers and scholars, typically given by the Keepers of Knowledge. Curious, however, acquired the title from Cuvar of Torch Key Wharf himself and must be addressed with the title before their name.

Perception

History

Dragons have cared for themselves for centuries, however, their close interactions with humanoids has altered their ability to care for all their needs. Food is the main cause for dragons need for mouth care assistance. A dragon's diet ranges from species and individual, but the invention of sweets as been a plague to both dragon and mortal humanoids alike.   Sweet breads and other foods have caused problems for many species especially dragons. A dragon's tendency for the collecting in combination with these new foods has proven to increase a dragon's need for dentists. However, Curious Hawk-Eagle is the only known and trust dentist to have performed upon dragons. They do not teach dragon dentistry within their guild school, however, Curious has stated they are in discussions with the dragons on this issue.

The dragon's physiology contain hazards, however, their sentience can prevent some hazards. This sentience is a hazard if the dentist is not confident in their abilities and able to communicate with an intimidating presence. Spellcasting, high-ranking, or other hazards associated with sentient, intelligent species must be anticipated for as well.   Performing on an unconscious dragon would be full of hazards, however, such event has not been reported or necessary. Dragons have high pain-tolerance and prefer to be alert of their surroundings despite high discomfort. Such behavior could be attributed to their status and predator nature, it is encouraged to never perform on an unconscious dragon.

    Author's Notes

The misconception of sweets being the main cause is used on purpose. It is highly likely a dragon or two may use this excuse.
