The Bone Shop's Cabinet of Curiosities

The Bone Garden's main attraction is a cabinet of curiosities that is Rerosha's pride and joy. Rerosha has stuffed the polished ebony cabinet with the shop's most valuable items. The cabinet stands behind Rerosha's counter and is magically protected. The 21 objects detailed below are not for sale. However, if a player helps Rerosha, she could be convinced to part with one of them or at least do a swap.Description
Benjamin is the name of a plush, soft toy in the shape of an Aarakocra. The plushie is not very tall, no more than a hand's span at most. His colours are like an eagle's in soft, downy greys and browns.
Fawn-coloured feathers surround his cute little head. His eyes are made of red felt and two black buttons. A red ribbon has been tied around his neck; his wings are made of the same feathers surrounding his face.
Children (and even some adults) find him irresistible. When Detect Magic is cast on the bird, there is a strong indication that the spells on the bird are protective ones.
Rarity
The Aarakocra plushie is an uncommon item. Similar plushies can be found in Ank'harel. They cost a fortune but are sold in 'The Happy Elephant', the most renowned toy shop in the city.
The toys are usually, but not always, enchanted with protection spells. Professor Lokia Killjoy at the Crystal Chateau supplements her teacher's salary by enchanting the dolls for the shop's owner.
History
The Aarakocra plushie is a present from one of Rerosha's friends and suppliers, a young human adventurer named Alvin Desanges. Alvin sees Rerosha as someone he cares about but is not romantically attached to her.
Alvin always pops in for a chat, business and presents for Rerosha when he returns from his latest adventure. Rerosha has not seen Alvin for a few months and is growing concerned about the young man.
Significance
Rerosha loves her plushie and will not part easily from it. Players can convince her to let the soft toy go if they promise to look for Alvin. Alvin was last seen near Shandal, an oasis one day away from Ank'harel in the Rumedan Desert.
Properties
The soft toy works as a ring of protection: - +1 to AC, but does not need attunement.
Secret History
Alvin was investigating one of the 'old kings' tombs near Shandal when he got lost in the labyrinth of rooms within the tomb. There will be clues to the pyramidal tomb's whereabouts in Shandal.
Pick a dungeon map with an Egyptian flavour. If the party clears the dungeon, they will find Alvin, and in exchange, Rerosha will gift the plushie to someone in the party. Alvin might also give the party more loot as a thank-you. Also, as an NPC, Alvin can join the party as extra muscle.
