The Tavern's Tale The Kind Lily Tavern  is owned by a widowed man and his male friend. One of the owners is a Human , while the other owner's is . Both of the owners are law-abiding citizens with no hidden secrets or notable personality quirks. Before owning the tavern, one of the owners worked there under the previous owner, while the other tried to earn a living as an artist. The inspiration for the tavern's name was an inside joke. It is a tavern of comfortable quality, and its main draw is the fact that it's always a comfortable temperature inside no matter what the weather is like outside.
The Bartender One of the owners of The Kind Lily Tavern tends the bar because he enjoys doing the job himself. His disposition is generally described as quite humorless. He is very average looking with pale skin and purple hair shoulder length. Physically, he is slender but toned.
The Clientele On a typical night, the clientele at The Kind Lily Tavern can be described as secretive. On this occasion, there are around twenty other people currently in the tavern. Several patrons are playing a game of dice. A few are entranced by a dancer on the stage, and some others are playing some kind of guessing game.

Ecix seeks a company of adventurers to recover a powerful arcane device from the cultists of Bha-Sathu. Tilmer: Male Human Artist, Good. Tilmer is short, with golden hair and amber eyes. He wears tailored clothing and several pouches hang from his belt. Tilmer is hunting the sorcerer who murdered his family. Hallgri: Male Dwarf Professional, Good. Hallgri has a square face, with cropped golden hair and narrow grey eyes. He wears fine clothing and carries a fine stiletto. Hallgri seeks to make amends for a life accidentally taken. Hjobju Gudlison: Male Dwarf Artist, Evil. Hjobju has white hair and brown eyes. He wears tailored clothing and numerous rings. Hjobju is mourning his son, who was killed by a bolt of lightning out of a clear sky.
Rumors The queen is actually a cruel werewolf. A fire elemental has escaped from the workshop of Isas the Enchanter. Mysterious lights have appeared in the Pearlbow Wilderness. Lady Sentie has been seen dealing with a dragon outside the town walls. A vampire still lurks in the crypts beneath the ruins of Darkmoor Stronghold. The master of the Diviners Society has been murdered by a red-robed assassin. The spiders of the Lost Pit of Annihilation are powerful spellcasters.
The Accommodations The rooms for rent at The Kind Lily Tavern are particularly small and clean. There are currently 10 rooms,  two rooms available for rent. The cost for a night's stay is 7 sp, 1 cp. If the party spends the night in the tavern, nothing happens during the night and the party wakes up after a night's rest.
