Session 7: Unmasking Secrets and Unexpected Alliances
General Summary
On the 26th of Cuersaar, fortune smiled upon our heroes. They successfully located Oscoe Mills, and Kylao's charm proved invaluable as she skillfully extracted all the information they needed. It was revealed that the Trebain family from Shadycreek Run was responsible for most of the illicit import and export activities plaguing Nogvurot . The family had forged an alliance with the local thieves' guild, The Black Rider Soldiers. Additionally, they learned that The Servant and Son store served as the primary point for selling these illicit goods. It was located near the building where they had previously followed Blossom Stonebridge.
With their mission accomplished, Geralt , Yinra , and Kylao sought out Ako for assistance. They entrusted Oscoe to Ako, who would ensure he remained outside of town while they proceeded to contact Telva to claim their reward. However, matters took an unexpected turn when Telva and Kylao unexpectedly turned against the group, leading to a confrontation. As the battle took a dire turn against our heroes, a mysterious man named Gyle Welf appeared and came to their aid. It was revealed that Gyle was a genuine Augen Trust agent/spy. With his help, they managed to subdue Telva, and more Augen Trust agents hidden in the forest apprehended her. Geralt, in the heat of the battle, had to make a difficult decision and killed Kylao. In gratitude for their assistance, Gyle presented Geralt with a pin, informing him that if he ever needed to contact him, he could do so by presenting the pin to the priest of the Temple of Dragon Seat in Rexxentrum . After the Augen Trust agents departed, Geralt received a message via the sending stone he had found on Huron Stahlmast . The message was overheard by everyone, and Ako expressed interest in joining them on their journey to Rexxentrum. Geralt began to harbor suspicions that Ako might be a Kryn operative but kept his thoughts to himself. With their business concluded, the trio decided to do some shopping and make preparations to head to Rexxentrum together on the following morning.
